Painter's Tape meets Cardstock!

This past Friday, I had a very impromptu stamping afternoon with my friend Angie..  As a result, this card was born!

To make the background, I used blue painter's tape as my stamp!  What?  To do this, you tear off different lengths of the painter's tape and with the sticky side down, run is across your ink pad.  Lay the inked tape across your cardstock and peel away!  The result is awesome!  On this background, I used four different colors and then ran the cardstock through the big shot to get the scallop circle!  I stamped on a strip of washi tape, added a couple of buttons and the card was born!  Love the result!

I think my stamp club girls may get to get inky with this technique this month!

I hope that you give it a try!

As the saying goes, "Better Late Than Never." That should really be my blog title!  I know that I am 10 years behind in the fact that I haven't had a blog, but thanks to a super sweet friend, now I do!

First, I will share my super sweet friend who made my blog possible!!!  This is an old picture, but it is a favorite.  Hopefully, she won't mind!  Hugs to you Angie!

I hope that you will follow my blog and allow me to share the things that I " get into!"
